Brilliant Bikeability!

bikeability_logo

Well done to all our Year Six children who underwent their Bikeability levels 1 and 2 this week. These sessions were fun, informative and gave children extra confidence on their bikes. Some children overcame their fears and learned how to ride for the first time – well done for stepping outside your comfort zone and achieving something special!

Heart Start success

Heart start pic

Some of our Year Six children, this week, took part in a Heart Start session after school. Mrs Brown, one of our parents and a highly experienced paramedic, trained the children in the basics who then got to try the techniques out on each other.

Further sessions will take place for anyone interested. Please contact the school office for details.

Britannia Buddies are ready for action!

Buddies Our fabulous Britannia Buddies are here and ready for action!

The Britannia Buddy system has been developed to ensure every child in school knows they can always rely on someone to play with or talk to.

Our team of willing volunteers were chosen because of their exemplary attitudes to helping others and are proving to be excellent role models to our infant children. Well done to all involved. Keep up the good work!
