Reception Assembly

Reception Assembly

Last Friday, we were treated to a wonderful assembly from the delightful Reception class who entertained us with their singing and confident speaking voices. I definitely look forward to the productions in store in the future from this class.

We started off last week with 12 eggs in the hatchery and we have successfully reared 6. They are due to be re-homed this week.  The children have really enjoyed watching the chicks grow.

Comic Relief Cake Sale Success!

The cake sale arranged by Alec K in Year 5 raised £166 for Comic Relief. Well done Alec!!  Many thanks to everyone who supported this event by baking or buying cakes.

The children were a sea of colour on Friday with red hair bands, socks and ties, etc.

Cake Sale in aid of Comic Relief

Alec K in Year 5 is organising a cake sale for comic relief and would really like some help from the school community to bake cakes to sell or just simply turn up with some money for cakes this Friday (13 March) after school in the hall. Thank you!

Young Voices 2015

Last week, the choir had a fantastic time singing with over 7,000 other children at Manchester Arena in the Young Voices concert. We were lucky enough to sing with a boy band, Lucy Spraggan and watch Urban Strides dancing. As always, it was a truly magical experience for all involved and the school would like to say a huge thank you to all those who made this experience possible.
