Reception's Week (30.11.2020)

This week we were greeted by our class elf... Cupcake! The children had a class vote for the elf's name and the decision was unanimous!

Cupcake has been a little bit cheeky so far... I am sure that your child will come home and tell you all about the different things he has been doing! Especially the glitter explosion this morning.

In maths we have been learning about time. In the early years this involves learning about the day time and night time. Today (03.12.2020) we have thought carefully about the things we do in the morning, at school, in the evening and at night time. Please talk about this at home with your child too.

In literacy we have been writing our own sentences all about The Enormous Turnip. We have been using our phonics to help us. I am very proud of each and every child for trying so hard with their writing.
