Reception's Week! (wb 09.11.2020)

Date: 12th Nov 2020 @ 11:35am

What a busy week we are having in Reception! We have been learning the story of The Gingerbread Man and the children have made their own story maps to show what happened in the story. The should be able to tell you that a little old lady and a little old man made a gingerbread man. The gingerbread man ran away singing 'Run, run as fast as you can, you can't catch me I am the Gingerbread Man!'. They will be able to tell you that he came to a cat and a dog and a cow. He then came to a fox who 'helped' him to cross the river... but ate him instead!

We have been doing lots of Dough Disco this week, too. These are different moves that we do with Play Doh to help with our fine motor skills. If you have some form of dough at home please have a go at this video with your child:

In maths we have been looking at repeating patterns - colour patterns and size patterns. Can you do any at home?
