‘Every child counts, every moment matters’

Reception's Week! (wb 27.11.2020)

Date: 27th Nov 2020 @ 8:03am

Reception have had a great week! We have been jumping in lots of muddy puddles and exploring the grounds around school. We have rolled down hills and looked for different wildlife in the trees. We all got VERY wet and VERY muddy!

In maths we have been learning how to compare weight, capacity and length.

In English we have been looking at the story of The Enormous Turnip. We have told the story lots and lots so we all know what happens in it. Ask your child to sing this song for you:

Heave ho, heave ho, pull the turnip free.

Heave ho, heave ho, we'll have it for our tea!

Home Learning:

Talk to your grown up about what it was like for them to be a child. Did they have an electronic device? Did they go to school like you do? What games did they play? Did they have chores to do? Are you able to ask a grandparent the same questions?
