‘Every child counts, every moment matters’

Reception's Week! (wb 28.09.2020)

Date: 2nd Oct 2020 @ 2:28pm

What a busy week we have had! We have been learning all about the planet Earth. We know that it is made up of land and sea. We know that some land is flat, or bumpy, or dry, or hot, etc. We went on a walk around school and we found bumpy and flat land! We also spotted some hills in the distance. Whilst on our walk we found lots of different sticks and leaves. Back in class we looked at these sticks to find tall ones and short ones. We have been doing lots of activities in class building tall towers and short towers, too!

Today (Friday 2nd October) we have had a class party! This is part of our RE topic on 'Celebrations'. It has also given the children an opportunity to take part in a party as due to COVID-19 restrictions we know that these aren't allowed at home at the moment!

Have a lovely weekend! Mrs Isherwood and Mrs Bromley
