Reading is a daily activity that your child should be encouraged to do. Reading, for primary age children, is critical to educational development and something that families can do together.
Phonics- Reception, Year 1 and Year 2
Evidence shows that learning phonics is most effective when children are taught by following a single programme exclusively, rather than mixing them up. At Britannia we follow the Read Write Inc Phonics program. Your child accesses daily phonics and reading lessons in school following this model. Please use the links below to continue with phonics at home.
