Autumn Term

This promises to be a very exciting year for us all in Year 4 and there will be lots of pictures, updates and descriptions from our work throughout the year so please keep checking this page regularly to see what we have been up to .

Our first topic of the year is Sparks Might Fly. We will be investigating electricity by creating circuits. The children will also be looking into the electrical appliances around our school and their homes and learning how to keep themselves safe around these.

We will be beginning our first term together by reading The Firework Makers Daughter. The children will be innovating the fantasy novel and creating their very own!

We got to have a go at a new sport called Nordic Walking which was really good for our upper body strength and fitness.
