Maths (is still) No Problem!

Lesson: Maths

In Maths, we will be focusing on further multiplication and division. We will be beginning to use formal, written methods for multiplication as well as for division e.g. bus stop method. We will then be moving onto looking at Measurement: length. Please also continue to practise 3’s, 4’s and 8’s with your child. They should be secure in their 1’s, 2’s, 3’s, 4’s, 5’s, 8’s and 10’s by the end of Year 3. Please practise the related division facts as this helps to develop a sense of number.

Times Table Rockstars is in full swing and we’ve all been trying really hard with our times tables. Don’t forget, certificates are up for grabs in each week’s assembly!
